Here are 10 tips for those who have already developed Chronic Renal Failure along with those who did not.
1. Avoiding eating spicy food, seafood (such as crab, shrimp and mussel etc.), bean products etc. A dietitian may help you develop your own meal plan based on your personal preferences, weight, kidney function and others.
2. Limiting the amount of protein such as meats (beef, mutton, chicken and some others), eggs, milk, cheese and beans. Instead, more low-protein foods such as vegetables, fresh fruits, breads and cereals are preferred.
3. Avoiding salty products. Carry on a low-salt diet and avoiding convenience foods, such as frozen dinners, canned vegetables, fast foods, processed meats and cheeses.
4. Proper exercises can be helpful. You can take an everyday walking instead of intensive activities and over fatigue.
5. Taking precautions against flu and keeping warm.
6. Building confidence and adhering to treatment as well as adjusting mood in order to remain a positive and peaceful attitude.
7. Avoiding tobacco and limiting alcohol.
8. Take good care of your blood pressure, especially those with hypertension. Taking multivitamin which contains water-soluble vitamins. Administration of vitamin A and E is unnecessary.
9. Always follow your own doctor’s recommendation and work with your doctor to slow down the progression.
10. Taking your medications as prescribed also is important for achieving the best possible results.
