Seafoods and Renal Failure


For people with renal failure, there are a lot of restrictions in diet. The following are some foseafoods that renal failure patients should not take:

For protein lost in urine is relatively much, when renal function is still good, and concentration of non protein nitrogen in blood is not high, renal failure patient could supply large amount of protein. But, when renal function is insufficient, the urine volume must be decreased. It is inappropriate to eat high protein foods, otherwise, the uremia will occur.

Therefore, high protein content seafood, such as, sea cucumber, dace, yellow croaker, goby, mandarin fish, etc. should be taken less for patients.

So, above seafood which renal failure patients should keep in mind and avoid eat arbitrary. Otherwise, the result can not be imagined.
